Phoelia Joins the HKCSS Approved Supplier Network for the Innovation and Technology Fund for Application in Elderly and Rehabilitation Care

Ltd. has been accepted onto the approved supplier network associated with Hong Kong's Innovation and Technology Fund for Application in Elderly and Rehabilitation Care (I&T Fund), also known as the "Gerontechnology and Rehabilitation Innovation Fund" (樂齡及康復創科應用基金). 

This milestone represents an exciting opportunity for Phoelia to support elderly care providers, rehabilitation centres, and social service organizations across Hong Kong by making innovative technologies and wellness solutions more accessible through government-funded initiatives.

What Is the HKCSS Innovation and Technology Fund?

The Innovation and Technology Fund for Application in Elderly and Rehabilitation Care was established by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2018 with an initial allocation of HK$1 billion. The Fund was later enhanced with an additional HK$1 billion to further support the adoption of innovative technologies within elderly and rehabilitation services. Its primary objective is to enable eligible service providers to procure, rent, or trial technology products that can improve care quality, enhance users' quality of life, and reduce the workload of care staff and caregivers.

The Fund supports a wide range of gerontechnology and rehabilitation solutions, including mobility aids, rehabilitation equipment, health monitoring systems, smart care devices, exercise and therapy technologies, and other innovations designed to promote healthier ageing and independent living.
